PV Recommends
The Bay of Banderas, or Bay of Flags, was named by the Spaniards who arrived around 1525. The Bay lends itself to wonderful day trips, and these are some of the providers we are pleased to recommend.

Ada Sailing
For over 10 years, Ada has shown guests extraordinary first-class sailings on the Banderas Bay. With a variety of customizable tours, you can take the said you want to enhance your tropical vacation.

Rhythm of the Night
Encompassing a wonderful boat ride across the bay, fantastic food and a first rate visual spectacular, Rhythm of the Night is a feast for all of your senses.
For activities, there are a variety of avenues to purchase tickets. We're happy to recommend "the most honest Bandido on the beach for over 25 years"

Zip lines
For the more adventurous, there are a variety of zip line experiences in the area. I've personally been on Vallarta Adventures Outdoor Zip Line Adventure and Los Veranos Canopy Tour. Both offer great, yet different experiences.
Vallarta Adventure's experience begins with a speedboat ride across the bay, continues to a transport ride in an all terrain truck and then a mule ride up the mountain before you even get to the first zip. Vallarta Adventures park employs zip lines, rappelling, and even a waterslide for a variety of fun challenges.
Los Veranos excels with more zip lines, at greater heights, and a variety of ways to ride (you'll have to see). Los Veranos also has a swimming area, restaurant, and animal preserve on its site.
Employees at both were wonderful, and made the experiences.
Whale Watching
Enjoying the same general latitude as the Hawaiian islands, Puerto Vallarta enjoys an annual humpback whale migration that is a spectacle to behold. Tails and breaches (jumping) are all part of the watching experience to enjoy.

Segway Tours
A fun way to cruise the Malecon and get around the city, Segways are available as a tour and for rent. Easy to operate, but first timers may choose to take the tour for a lesson in use and guided visit of Old Town, the Malecon and Cinco de Diciembre.
